Area students will celebrate the publication of Our Beautiful Robotic Hearts, the annual anthology of the best poetry and prose from the previous year’s Writers in the Schools (WITS) program, on Sunday, September 25 at Benaroya Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

This anthology, with cover art by Gala Bent, features more than 100 students from 27 schools and hospitals in the 2010-11 WITS program, including programs at Lummi Nation School in Bellingham, Blue Heron Middle School in Townsend, and Seattle Children’s Hospital, in addition to students from Seattle, Kent and Shoreline.
