Get ready for the holidays as Caldecott and National Book Award-winning
childrens author and illustrator Chris Van Allsburg provides an
inside look at the creative process that promises to engage the child
in all of us. Like the characters in The Polar Express, kids attending
are encouraged to come in their pajamas!
We are pleased to welcome this beloved storyteller, whose books include
The Garden of Abdul Gasazi (1979), Jumanji (1981), Zathura (2002), and
a host of other contemporary classics, for an evening of family fun.
"The
inclination to believe in the fantastic may strike some as a failure in
logic, or gullibility, but its really a gift. A world that might
have Bigfoot and the Loch Ness monster is clearly superior to one
that definitely does not."Chris Van Allsburg
