Benaroya Hall (Lecture Series, Special Event Series, Poetry Series and Poetry Special Events) Benaroya Hall is located in downtown Seattle at 200 University Street. Driving
south on I-5 - Take the Union Street exit and continue west to 2nd
Avenue. **Due to
the two year closure of the Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel, Third Avenue
has been converted to a transit-priority corridor. During the afternoon
commute period from 3 - 7:00 p.m., you will have very limited access to
Third Avenue between Stewart Street and Yesler Way. General-purpose traffic
will be allowed to travel on Third Avenue for just one block before making
a right turn. Seattle Police officers will be on duty to keep traffic
moving and enforce these rules. Parking - The Benaroya Hall parking garage, a two-level garage beneath the hall, has an entrance on Second Avenue between Union and University streets, with elevator access to the hall. Parking at Benaroya Hall is not guaranteed, as there are only 400 spaces. Alternatively, there is the Cobb/Puget Sound Plaza Garage, which has its entrance on University Street, between Third and Fourth avenues. |

Henry Art Gallery (Wednesday University) The Henry Art Gallery is located on the western edge of the University of Washington campus at 15th Avenue NE and NE 41st Street. Driving north and south on I-5 - Take I-5 to the NE 45th Street exit and drive east to 15th Avenue NE. Turn south on 15th Avenue NE. The Gallery is on the left between NE 41st Street and Campus Parkway. From the ferry terminal - Turn left on 1st Avenue and drive north. Make a right on University and get onto the I-5 north ramp. Drive north on I-5, take the NE 45th Street exit and drive east to 15th Avenue NE. Turn south on 15th Avenue NE. The Gallery is on the left between NE 41st Street and Campus Parkway. By bus - The Henry Art Gallery can be reached by over twenty bus routes. Please call Metro at (206) 553-3000 or visit them online for more information. Parking - Parking is often available in the underground Central Parking garage at NE 41st Street. On Sundays, parking is usually available for no fee. Town Hall is located in downtown Seattle at Eighth Avenue and Seneca Street. Driving
south on I-5 - Take the James Street Exit. Take the first left after
exiting (Cherry Street). Stay in the right hand lane and continue to the
next traffic light (Seventh Avenue); turn left and continue north past
Madison Street one block to Spring Street. Town Hall is at Eighth Avenue
between Spring and Seneca Streets. Parking - There is a large pay lot immediately adjacent to Town Hall; enter the parking lot from Seventh Avenue, Spring or Seneca Streets. Additionally, several commercial parking lots are located within 1.5 blocks of Town Hall's front door. The House is located at 1634 Eleventh Avenue in Seattle. Driving north on I-5 - Take the Olive Way exit and turn right onto Olive Way. Go straight for a number of blocks. Olive Way will become East John Street and you'll cross Broadway. Turn right onto Eleventh Avenue. Go straight for approximately four blocks. Richard Hugo House is a gray Victorian House on the corner of Eleventh Avenue and Olive Street. Driving sound on I-5 - Take the Stewart Street / Denny exit. Take a left on Denny. You'll cross over the freeway as you go up the hill. Get in the right lane and continue straight until you come to Eleventh Avenue. Take a right onto Eleventh Avenue. Go straight for approximately four blocks.
