Group Discounts

Accessibility
Venues are wheelchair accessible and provide listening devices upon request. American Sign Language interpretation is available with two-week's advance notice. As indicated, five events will be captioned in the 2009-10 season. Accessible seats at SAL's events are available in all seating sections and price ranges. Please contact the SAL Box Office at sal@lectures.org or 206-621-2230 for any special needs.

Ticket & Event Information
Tickets can be mailed if ordered at least one week prior to an event (or the first event in a series). Tickets ordered less than one week before an event will be available at Will Call when the Box Office opens at 6pm the evening of the event.

Student/U25 subscriptions will be held at Will Call to be picked up the evening of the event. Proof of student/U25 status will be required at that time. If you would like your tickets mailed, please fax (206-623-0065) or mail one copy of student/U25 ID for each student subscription ordered.

All Literary\Arts Series talks take place at 7:30pm in Benaroya Hall’s S. Mark Taper Foundation Auditorium. Special Events take place at 7:30pm, but venues vary. All Poetry Series readings take place at 7:30pm in Benaroya Hall's Illsley Ball Nordstrom Recital Hall. The Box Office and lobby doors for all of SAL's Benaroya Hall events open at 6pm. Auditorium doors open at 6:45pm. Benaroya Hall is located at 200 University Street in downtown Seattle.

The language and content of our speakers' presentations are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of Seattle Arts & Lectures, its board, or staff.

Literary\Arts Series and Special Events speakers do not sign books at events. Signed books are available for purchase in the lobby. Poets in the Poetry Series will sign books after their readings.

For all SAL events, seating is not guaranteed after events begin. Please note in the event of unforseen circumstances, alternate speakers and lecture dates may be presented. All tickets and subscriptions are nonrefundable.

Wednesday University

Course passes, syllabi, and other information will be mailed approximately three weeks prior to the first class.

Fall and Winter courses take place in Kane Hall on the University of Washington campus (15th Ave. NE & NE 41st St). The Spring course takes place in the UW's Brechemin Hall on the first floor of the Music Building.

Auditorium doors open at 7:15pm; class begins at 7:30pm and concludes at 9pm. Seating is not guaranteed after class begins. All course fees are nonrefundable.

Teachers: Wednesday University courses are approved for 7.5 Washington State clock-hour credits per course.
