Seattle Arts & Lectures is pleased to announce that we are seeking a new Program Director to lead the Writers in the Schools (WITS) program in its next phase of vibrancy and growth. The Program Director will join a talented corps of Writers-in-Residence and 7 staff-members at SAL to lead the program to inspire young people all around our region to develop and share their authentic writing voices.

SAL is seeking a new Community Engagement Coordinator to help us strategize and implement marketing, engagement, and outreach efforts which will increase visibility of the organization, our mission, and programs through working with the media, partner organizations, social media, and our website.

Overview: Join the biggest little book club in Seattle! Behind the scenes at SAL is a corps of dedicated volunteers who contribute their time to ensure we meet our mission of sparking imaginations and bringing together people and ideas. We have a host of areas that you can get involved in and experience the literary world. Volunteers do many things from ushering at our events, to assisting with mailings and other administrative tasks, to working on our annual Words Matter Benefit.
